Macquarie University Faculty of Business and Economics delivers three postgraduate coursework degrees in the subject area of Actuarial Studies.
Master of Actuarial Practice
This degree is suitable for graduates who hold a bachelor degree in a science or business–related discipline and have strong mathematical skills. It is designed to be a graduate conversion program for non actuarial graduates who wish to obtain professionally accredited qualifications in actuarial science. The structure allows students to complete Parts 1 and 2 of the Institute of Actuaries of Australia professional qualifications as part of the degree. Students are also able to complete further specialized study in actuarial science and related areas such as Statistics, Finance and Economics. It is delivered by the Department of Actuarial Studies.

Master of Commerce in Actuarial Studies
The MCom in Actuarial Studies is suitable for graduates who hold a bachelor degree in actuarial studies or equivalent professional qualifications.
